Every opening day in the aternoon and every sunday and wednesday: Free entrance (You decide ticket)

Due to health security reasons, visitors must have their own headphones to listen to the audios of the videos present in some of the exhibitions. Sorry for the inconvenience.

October long weekend opening hours
From Saturday 9 to Tuesday 12 October, open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On Wednesday 13 the museum will be closed

From Tuesday to Friday: 11.00am - 2.00pm and 5.00pm - 8.00pm

Saturdays and Sundays 11.00am - 8.00pm

Mondays: closed (unless this coincides with a public holiday)

The ticket office will remain open until half an hour before closing time.

The weekly free day, usually on Monday, can exceptionally be moved. See 2021 opening calendar.

The Museum will be closed these days: january 1, New Year day; january 6, Epiphany; april 28, Saint Prudence holiday; august 5, White Virgin holiday; december 25, Christmas day.

Library and Documentation Centre

Monday to Friday: 11am – 2pm and 4pm – 7.30pm
2020 Virgen Blanca Vitoria-Gasteiz city festival: August 4 and 5 closed; 6 and 7, 11.00 am to 2.00 pm
Christmas: December 24 and 31 closed, January 5 closed in the afternoon.

General ticket: 5 €

Free access (You decide reduced ticket): you decide to pay or not, and how much.

  • Students, unemployed persons, pensioners and over 65 people
  • Every day in the afternoon and every Wednesday and Sunday all day, for all visitors

  • Members of the Friends of Artium Museum programme
  • Persons bearing a card of the Corporate Members of Artium Museum programme
  • Teachers, journalists and guides, with credentials
  • Members of, IAC and MAV

Discounted ticket: 2,5 €

  • Large families
  • Beneficiaries of agreements with other institutions: Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, Chillida Leku, San Sebastián San Telmo Museum, Jorge Oteiza Museum, ItsasMuseum

Group rates:
Guided visits (group): 50,00 €, individual ticket included. Max. 25 people by group

Additional services:

  • Artium, WiFi zone (free access)
  • Free audioguide with ticket to the centre-museum (limited number of units)
  • The museum provides prams for children and wheelchairs for visiting the galleries of the museum. These can be requested in the cloakroom.
