Catalogue of the exhibition Juan Luis Moraza. Gordailua 1987-1988 Depósito (1987-1988 Long-Term Loan), published by Artium Museum. It was in late 1998 when Juan Luis Moraza agreed with the heads of Álava Provincial Council that a set of his sculptures would become part of the institution’s holdings in the form of a long-term loan, alongside a donation of five other pieces. Gordaliua 1987-1988 Depósito covers two series of works: Moldes para la oscuridad (Moulds for darkness) and Negaciones (Negations). Most of these works have not been displayed since that time but they can now be seen on display together with a vast amount of accompanying material -such as drawings, diagrams, texts and various objects chosen by the author- that underline his nature as a thinker and art theorist.
