The 2023 edition of JAI, the Institute for Artistic Practices took place between 5 June and 25 August.

It took place at Artium Museoa from 5 to 30 June and at Tabakalera from 1 July to 25 August, including a visit to the Oteiza Museoa in Alzuza (Navarre).

TUTORS  

Itziar Okariz (San Sebastian, 1969). Okariz's work is often characterised by the production of actions that question norms around language and the production of signs that define us as subjects.. 

Asier Mendizabal (Ordizia, 1973). His work revolves around cultural and ideological traditions. It brings together historical references, knowledge and aesthetic quests in a balance between the formal and the conceptual, and brings together diverse disciplines and expressions ranging from sculpture to image, through writing, history and craftwork. 

Ibon Aranberri (Itziar, Deba, Ordizia, 1969). Aranberri works in a wide variety of formats, including sculpture, photography, film and collaborative practices. His work focuses on human intervention within the natural environment.
