The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Basque Country Collection represents an exceptional series of contemporary public heritage pieces that currently number more than 2,800 works of art. The main body of this collection primarily includes works produced from the 1950s to the present day.
In addition to the exhibitions displayed in the presentations of the permanent collection, and with the purpose of making visible and familiarising Artium Museoa’s public with the public heritage, a selection of representative works from the collection is rotated and placed in different spaces of the museum building.
