After the villages in the Arce Valley were abandoned in the 1960s, the Government of Navarre planted pine trees in the fields that were tilled or used as pasture for animals. More than 50 years later, they have decided to cut down the pines and recover their fields in a village repopulated in the 1980s. This film explores a territory in transformation by using a variety of data and image capture technologies.
This notebook is published by Artium on the occasion of the exhibition Restless point of view. Gerardo Armesto Larzabal in the Museum. The artist presents works made on video between 1981 and 1990, several sketchbooks, models and sculptural objects. The work of Xabier Salaberria (San Sebastian, 1969) alternates between the fields of sculpture, design and the organisation of spaces and architecture. His practice is rooted in studying the history of techniques, materials and objects. Photography, drawing and installation are the media the artist has used in works such as the one created as part of Xabier Salaberria. An Exhibition Without Architecture exhibition at Artium Museum.
Cardón cardinal tells an extended version of an event that occurred 26 years ago: moving a giant cactus, a Pachycereus pringlei, 17 metres high and weighing 18 tons, from the deserts of Baja California to the gardens of the Mexican Pavilion for the Universal Exposition of Seville in 1992. Cardón cardinal is part of the Sala Z programme, a space from which to reflect on and draw attention to works by artists making the leap into the cinematographic field as welll as filmmakers exploring the exhibition format.

This publication, edited by Artium, is presented on the occasion of Katinka Bock. Logbook exhibition at the Museum. It explores recent works by the artist, including pieces that arise from the exchanges proposed by Katinka Bock to local artisans, as well as from the work carried out with the Museum’s space and architecture.

This publication presents the scripts of five of Moyra Davey's main films, and has been produced on the occasion of her exhibition at the Artium Museum. An essential part of this exhibition project, the publication of these scripts reveal a new line of practice in Davey's work, where voice and text play a very important role.
