EXHIBITIONS

. Joëlle Tuerlinckx. El caso de l(a casa) museo(a)

The exhibition of Tuerlinckx (Brussels, Belgium, 1958) ends on 27 April. The exhibition is articulated as a sort of disconcerting retrospective in which the artist brings together historical works alongside recent proposals that, in turn, are traces and records of previous pieces and exhibitions.

. Inés Medina. Investigacion analítica plástica. 1978-1995

Until 1 June, this exhibition presents the plastic research of Medina (Cáceres, 1950) from his first monochrome experiments, carried out in 1978, until the mid-1990s.

. Bilduma Hau Colección. Elementary Movements (1950-2000)

Exhibition of the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Basque Country

. Asins, Oteiza, Palazuelo. Dar forma a lo trascendente

Case study in the museum's collection exhibition.

. Bilduma, ikusgai (selection, until 27 April 2025)

. Shared Readings

Children's reading area in the museum. Free admission until full capacity

On the occasion of World Book Day, Artium Museoa is organising the sixteenth edition of Shared Readings, a public reading of contemporary art and culture texts in which books set out to meet readers.

Besides inviting professionals from the field of art and culture, the activity aims to become a meeting point for everyone who wishes to share the experience of reading. In this edition, we want to focus on the museum's collection of children's books and reserve the last time slot (from 12:00 to 13:00) for the children's public to participate in the programme.

Participants may bring their own text if they wish, providing that it is relevant to the suggested topic. Please send an email to biblioteca@artium.eus if you want to take part in this programme, indicating a contact telephone number and the selected time for your participation in the readings.

. Bookcrossing

This summer, we invite you to participate in some open summer workshops during the second half of July and August, featuring works by Ibon Aranberri, Patricia Dauder, Esther Ferrer and other artists from the Artium Museoa Collection in order to discover a variety of work processes.

Capturing traces
23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31 July, 1 and 2 August

We will gather all manner of traces by collecting leaves and plants from the museum garden and making prints with them. We will be able to experiment with the traces left by objects by applying paint to them, or else create three-dimensional prints with them by embedding them in plasticine or plaster.

We will use techniques such as frottage, engraving, printing and many others to create our own prints.

Spaces of remembrance
20, 21, 22,23, 27, 28, 29 and 30 August

We will pay close attention to the spaces where we have lived in order to recall what they were like, to evoke their shapes, colours and smells, to reflect on how the passage of time has influenced them and how we view them today.

We will create compositions based on these memories.

11.30 am to 1.30 pm and 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm
For children aged between 4 and 12, accompanied by an adult
Free admission without prior booking
