New Wave Art is an art collective formed by Garazi Barquin, Patricia González, Leyre Arana and Nerea Portillo, four Art History students who met at the Faculty of Arts of the UPV/EHU in Gasteiz.

In 2022 they received the Erronka Globalen Aurrean Gazteak Martxan award with the project Emakume Artisteen Sarea, an exhibition that sought to promote the artistic practice of women.

His project New Wave Art, which fuses contemporary art with live music, was awarded the Haziak prize by the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council. This work, which is now being presented at Artium Museoa, seeks to offer a new perspective to the public visiting the museum, with the participation of DJs.
