NÍTIDO is a programme designed for young people with interactive experiences, artist collaborations and activities that link the museum to everyday life.

NÍTIDO encourages you to explore the Artium Collection through Spotify playlists created by this year’s guest artists. Discover this alternative way of exploring the museum with playlists linked to individual works of art or designated gallery areas.

Nítido includes workshops-meetings with artists from the field of music. On this occasion, we have the opportunity to engage with Laura Sam and Ana Arsuaga (Verde Prato) in order to examine various artistic disciplines.

Curated by Sara Berasaluce Duque and Artium Museoa’s Education Department.

WORKSHOPS

1 December
Spoken word workshop with Laura Sam

Laura Sam offers a small laboratory of poetic creation and experimentation based on creating and developing texts, as well as staging them by using the voice, body and stage presence. The workshop’s central focus is on words, their sound and narrative presence in space.

Laura Sam is originally from Totana (Murcia) but has lived in Bilbao since 2012, when she completed her BA in Fine Arts there. Her work is tied to writing, oral poetry and music, and she is regarded as one of the leading figures of spoken word in our country.

22 December
Workshop by Ana Arsuaga (Verde Prato)

Ana Arsuaga provides a series of exercises to help you become aware of your voice and body, using improvisational play to work on rhythm and staging in order to create a new song by transforming some of those known by the participants.

Ana Arsuaga is an artist and musician who obtained her BA in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country in 2016, followed by an MA in Painting from the same university in 2018. She has played in bands such as Serpiente and Mazmorra and has recently performed at international festivals with her solo project Verde Prato.
